Peter’s practice centers on elder law and includes such areas as guardianships, probates, estate litigation, and estate planning.  Additionally, Peter enjoys adoption law where he has had the privilege of assisting clients complete international, DSHS, private, agency, and step-parent adoptions.

 Peter has lived in the Everett/Lake Stevens area since 1976 with periods away for undergraduate work at Christian Heritage College, now San Diego Christian, and a tour as an officer in the United States Marine Corps.  After finishing law school in 1991 at the University of Puget Sound, now Seattle University School of Law, Peter began practicing law as a judge advocate with the Marines. 

 In 1996, Peter left active duty with the Marines and joined his brother-in-law, Larry Jelsing, in the private practice of law with what is today Jelsing, Tri, West & Andrus, PLLC.  Since that time, Peter has enjoyed a broad range of experience in various areas of the law and has within the last five years narrowed his practice to elder and adoption law.  He continues his affiliation with the Marines as a reserve judge advocate.

 Peter is a member at Snohomish Community Church in Snohomish, Washington.  He is happily married and enjoys his three sons immensely.  In addition to engaging people in good conversation, Peter enjoys volleyball, running, and racquetball.

 Larry has over 30 years of experience in estate planning, probate, trust and elder law.  He also regularly works in the fields of business law, corporations/LLC formation, contract and real estate law. 

 Larry received his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington (BA- Economics).  Larry received his law degree from Gonzaga University where he graduated near the top of his class (Magna Cum Laude). 

 Larry has served on the Washington State Bar Legislative Committee, and has been a board member of many local charitable non-profit organizations, including The Providence General Foundation; Volunteers of America; The American Diabetes Association; Luther Child Center; United Way and others.  Larry has presented numerous estate planning seminars and programs for various groups, including The Providence Hospital Foundation, Snohomish County Estate Planning Council, the Catholic Arch Diocese of Seattle, the Snohomish County Legal Secretaries Association, various retirement groups, and many others.

 In 2000 Larry was named as a “Super Lawyer” by Washington Law and Politics Magazine.

 Larry lives in the Lake Stevens area, and is the proud father of four wonderful children and five beautiful, spoiled grandchildren.

  Bill works primarily on personal injury and family law matters.  He has nearly 25 years of experience conducting mediations, arbitrations, trials and appeals.  Bill handles all personal injury cases including motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, professional negligence and premises liability.  Personal injury cases are usually handled on a contingency fee basis:  no recovery, no fee.  Bill also handles other general matters including civil litigation, administrative hearings, employment issues and district court criminal cases. 

  Bill received his undergraduate degree from Western Washington University (BA-Political Science) where he was a member of the varsity football and track teams.  Bill received his law degree from Seattle University where he graduated with honors (cum laude) and was a member of the Seattle University Law Review.  Following his graduation, he worked as a law clerk for a Snohomish County Superior Court Judge and then for a Washington State Court of Appeals Judge.  Bill has been a member of Jelsing, Tri, West & Andrus, PLLC, for over 20 years. 

  Bill is a member of the Washington State Trial Lawyers.  He has served on several Washington State Bar Committees and the Snohomish County Children’s Commission.  Bill has also coached numerous community youth sports teams.

  Bill and his wife Linda live in the Lake Stevens area and are the proud parents of three wonderful children

 

 Ximena joined Hopkins, Jelsing and Tri in October 1990 and became a partner on January 1, 1996.  Ximena’s extensive experience includes trials, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.

 Ximena’s practice centers on family law which includes assisting clients with dissolution, paternity, child support, and parenting plan actions.  Additionally, Ximena enjoys adoption law where she has had the privilege of assisting clients complete international, private, agency, and step-parent adoptions.

 Ximena grew up in Southern California, Virginia and Idaho.  She graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelors of Science in 1985 and moved to Tacoma, Washington to attend University of Puget Sound School of Law, now Seattle University School of Law.  Ximena has lived in Snohomish County since 1990.

 Ximena is a Volunteer Family Law Attorney with Snohomish County Legal Clinic and volunteers regularly in her community schools.

 

Jamie Jensen

Jamie recently joined Jelsing Tri West and Andrus and practices all phases of real estate  law including title issues, sales and other transactions, quiet title actions and other property disputes.

Practicing law was almost a requirement in Jamie's household.  Jamie’s father and father-in-law are both attorneys, as are all of his wife’s brothers and one brother-in-law.  Jamie has two cousins who are judges in other states.

Jamie grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota and attended the University of Minnesota where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Finance.  After a year at Merrill Lynch in St. Paul Jamie became a real estate lender.  Seeing real estate as a career choice Jamie attended Hamline University School of Law, graduating in the minimum 2 ½ years.  He then started a sole practice in 1985.  In addition to being an attorney Jamie has a long history as a residential developer.  He taught Real Estate Law and Real Estate Development at the University of St. Thomas.  He has also been a guest lecturer in the Real Estate Masters program at St. Thomas.  Jamie has been a reviewer and a contributing author for real estate text books.

Jamie and his wife moved to Washington for her health.  They have four children.  The three boys are all Eagle Scouts.  Their daughter is an honor student.  Jamie is an avid racquetball player, snow skier/boarder and instrument pilot.
