Larry A. Jelsing (Retired)

After nearly 50 years of practice in estate planning, probate, trust, elder law, business law, contracts, and real estate law, Larry Jelsing has retired (as of end of year 2024). In his retirement, Larry enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, reading and studying (just no longer legal books and statutes). He spends time volunteering for his church and for various local organizations in the Bellingham area.

Larry received his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington (BA Economics) and received his law degree from Gonzaga University where he graduated near the top of his class (Magna Cum Laude). Larry has been named a “Super Lawyer” in estate planning and probate, by the Washington Law and Politics Magazine.

He has served on the Washington State Bar Legislative Committee and has been a board member and director of many local charitable nonprofit organizations, including:

• Volunteers of America
• The Providence General Foundation
• The American Diabetes Association
• Luther Child Center
• The Children’s Home Society of Washington
• And United Way of Snohomish County

Larry has presented numerous estate planning seminars and programs for various groups, including the Snohomish County estate planning Council, the Snohomish County Legal Secretaries Association; the Catholic Archdiocese of Seattle, and various churches and retirement groups.
